News from Susie Ford the regional worker for Scripture Union Scotland, covering Dundee and Angus. Susie gives an update on work happening in schools in the Fintry, Whitfield and Douglas area.
We are delighted to have Becky Read on board as our new worker, for one day a week. We are able to fund Becky’s initial 6 month post through a successful application to the Presbytery Mission Initiative Fund. Becky is vastly experienced in children’s and youth work, working with Scripture Union and Church of Scotland in Montrose.
Becky will be us on a Thursday where she will lead youth group session with Ross.
In addition, Becky will help head up a new children’s after school club starting on 23rd October at the Fintry building from 3:30pm-4:30pm during term time. Please watch this video above for more details and how you can be part of the team!
